It’s the hoppiest of holidays in Onslow County – Easter! We love seeing families dressed up for Easter Sunday, enjoying this beautiful weather in Eastern North Carolina and hunting for eggs. Easter Events

Jacksonville

Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt – Bring your flashlights to the Northeast Creek Park in Jacksonville on March 18th for the ultimate egg hunting challenge. Children ages 8-12 can hunt through the park to find Easter eggs in the dark. Registration starts at 7 pm, and the hunt is on at 8 pm!

Eggstravaganza – On March 19th, bring the whole family to Jacksonville Commons, where egg hunts, games, and crafts begin at 11am on the Rotary Youth Ballfields. Bring your own basket for the Egg Hunt at 12pm, and pose for a picture with the Easter Bunny!

Spring Festival & Egg Hunt – Jacksonville’s favorite food vendors are coming to the Onslow Pines Park for a delicious celebration! Visit the park from 10am to 4pm on March 26th for crafts, egg decorating, and a visit from the Easter Bunny.

Swansboro

Easter Egg-stravaganza – The hunt is on March 19th at 10am! Bring your own basket to the egg hunts for kids of all ages, including separate hunts for 2 and under, 3-5, 6-9, and 10-12 year olds. Snacks and refreshments will be available at the Swansboro Recreation Center, and don’t forget to stick around for an appearance by the Easter Bunny!

Easter Egg Hunt – This year, the beach is the place to be to celebrate Easter. Visit Hammocks Beach State Park on March 27th from 2-3:30pm for a family-friendly egg hunt on the waterfront!

Richlands

Easter Egg Hunt – On March 18th, Richlands Steed Park is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt for kids up to 12 years old. Bring your own basket and score some treats!
